This is our newest and largest Centre and in a very short space of time, Derby Garden Centre has firmly established itself as the leading Centre in the area. It is always a busy and popular location, not only with regular local visitors but also many of our customers travel a considerable distance to enjoy all the facilities this large Centre has to offer. With plants, always the core of our business at all our Centres, Derby in particular stocks a vast range – both for indoors and outdoors – and to suit almost every purpose. This is an annual event run by the city Council's parks departments for both businesses and residents in the city. There has been a fantastic response in recent years and hopes are high that this year’s variety of competition will prove equally successful. Hanging Baskets
10.30am, Thursday, April 24th

We will be discussing all types of hanging basket including mossed or plastic and the right type of plants to give you the best possible show. We will demonstrate how to plant several baskets.
All our events are informal and will start at 10.30am on a Thursday in each month.
January to June talks are repeated on Sundays at 10.30am. Location of talks will be announced via tannoy 20 minutes before start.
A Plant Doctor is available in the Garden Centre from 11.00am to 4.00pm on Thursdays Saturdays and Sundays. These special sessions give you access to expert help on all gardening matters. Whether you have a gardening problem, need a “Plant Doctor” or just need some gardening information. Meet our expert at our central information desk.
